Songs for the water - Concert - Thursday 19:30
â
The Vaskilintu music project is rooted in Finnish animist traditions, where all of nature holds a spirit, or “väki” - from forests and waters to sauna steam and Somali mythologies. She bridges these themes with modern soundscapes, blending electronics, rhythms, and looped vocals into a hypnotic, primal experience that makes each performance unforgettable.
Songs for the water - Ritual - Friday 11:30
â
A community singing and earth-connection workshop by a body of water, exploring our relationship with the oldest element on Earth. We will draw from Finnic and Somali water mythologies and dive into the places of water we hold dear.
