TeaTipi Silent Ceremonies

David is an enthusiast for traditional Chinese culture, in particular with Wudang martial arts, Daoism and Chinese Tea Ceremony. Since he is a Berlin-born russian speaking Jew from Tajikistan, he brings a clash of different cultures into one context. Because of the variety of cultures, he is not stuck into one particular style. He has been traveling to Rainbow Gatherings and other similar events since 2004, where he developed the creation of a unique common space using a teepee and a selection of Tajiki decoration. These spaces are used for workshops, music events and since 2024 also for tea ceremonies.

Daily silent Tea ceremony at TeaTipi

Gong Fu Cha is the original term for the traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. Tea is served in small little cups and brewed in a specific way. The so called “TEApee” brings a very special place to Milk ‘N’ Honey, where you can exit the intense field for a while, take some time to integrate your experiences with yourself, while being charmed with Gong Fu Cha. During one of the guided ceremonies, where we enjoy the silence, David will brew at least three different kinds of tea in a specific order. The ceremonies open up the mind, the spirit and the body.
